These Terms and Conditions govern enquiries and reservations for private boat cruises on the Vivien pontoon offered by Prague Kampa Boat Trip.
1. Operator

Company ID: 72735333
VAT ID: CZ8104112335

2. Service
The service is a private cruise on the Vltava River aboard the luxury Vivien pontoon with a captain. The boat accommodates up to 10 guests plus the captain. The standard cruise lasts one hour. Longer or otherwise customised cruises are prepared individually according to the customer’s requirements and availability.
The route may include views of Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Střelecký Island, Vyšehrad and the Čertovka canal. The route may be adapted to the customer’s wishes where permitted by navigation rules and current safety conditions.
3. Price and inclusions
The Services page lists the standard one-hour private cruise for up to 10 passengers at CZK 9,500 in the Czech version and EUR 400 in the English and German versions. The price of a longer or customised cruise is confirmed in the operator’s offer.
The standard cruise includes the captain, a welcome drink of the customer’s choice, still and sparkling water, and light refreshments such as nuts and crisps. Customers may bring their own refreshments, drinks or birthday cake unless this conflicts with the captain’s safety instructions.
4. Enquiry and contract formation
A reservation begins with the submission of the enquiry form. The form requests, in particular, the customer’s name, telephone number, email address, requested date, number of guests, preferred time and any additional note.
Submitting the form is an enquiry, not an automatic reservation confirmation or an automatic contract. The operator checks availability and then confirms the date, scope of service, price, payment method and any special requirements with the customer. A contract for a particular cruise is formed when these details are confirmed by the operator and the customer.
5. Payment
According to the website, payment may be made in cash or by common payment card. The exact payment method and due date are confirmed during the reservation. Prices and payment conditions for longer or customised cruises are set out in the individual offer.
6. Boarding and the cruise
The boarding point is the landing stage near the Liechtenstein Palace. Coming from the Charles Bridge side, it is the third landing stage from the bridge. Customers must arrive on time at the confirmed place and follow the captain’s instructions.
The captain is responsible for the safe conduct of the cruise and may change the route or course of the cruise, or interrupt it, where required by safety, navigation rules, official instructions or circumstances outside the operator’s reasonable control.
7. On-board rules
- The pontoon is not wheelchair accessible. If a guest can board, there is sufficient space on board for a wheelchair.
- Pets are welcome provided that their presence does not endanger safety or the comfort of other guests.
- Traditional cigarette smoking is not permitted on board. Electronic cigarettes are allowed to the extent determined by the captain.
- Guests must follow the captain’s instructions, safety rules and navigation rules.
- The customer is responsible for damage caused intentionally or by breach of the customer’s obligations.
8. Weather, safety and route changes
The pontoon has a transparent roof protecting guests from rain and wind. The roof does not mean that a cruise can take place in every condition. The operator may change the route or date, or cancel the cruise for safety reasons. A replacement date, transfer of a payment or refund of an amount paid in advance is handled according to the specific circumstances and the confirmed reservation.
9. Cancellation and withdrawal
The customer should notify the operator of a cancellation without undue delay by email or telephone. The website does not publish one universal cancellation fee; any cancellation terms, deposit or compensation are therefore agreed in the confirmation of the particular reservation.
For a leisure service provided on a specific date or during a specific period, the statutory exception to the consumer’s 14-day withdrawal right may apply. The legal nature of the particular reservation and its confirmed terms are decisive.
10. Liability and complaints
The operator provides the service with due professional care and is liable for defects to the extent required by applicable law. A complaint should be raised without undue delay, if possible with the captain during the cruise and subsequently with the operator at praguekampaboattrip@gmail.com.
The operator is not liable for the impossibility of following a particular route or carrying out a cruise because of safety reasons, official decisions, navigation restrictions, extraordinary events or other circumstances that could not reasonably be controlled. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Personal data
Information about personal data processing is available in the Privacy Policy.
12. Final provisions
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Consumers retain all rights granted by mandatory provisions of applicable law. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic unless applicable law provides otherwise.
